About Us
About Thunder Bay Masonry
Thunder Bay Masonry Pros has been building, restoring, and repairing brick, stone, and block across the region since 2000. Over 25 years we’ve earned a reputation for honest work and dependable results with homeowners and businesses right across this area.
Owner-Operated Since 2000
The company is owned and run by Tom Smith, who started it in 2000 on a simple principle: do good work, treat people fairly, and stand behind every job. Hire us and you get the same standard from quote to cleanup, clear communication, real accountability, and a finished product built to one consistent benchmark.
What We Do
We’re a full-service masonry shop. Whether it’s a single repair or a complete build, we cover brick, stone, and block work, chimneys and fireplaces, tuckpointing and restoration, concrete, foundations and parging, retaining walls and interlock, outdoor living features, and glass block.
Who We Work With
Over the years we’ve handled projects for homeowners, businesses, property managers, and general contractors across the city and the surrounding communities. Some clients call once for a repair; others bring us back season after season. Either way, you get the same care and the same straight answers.
Local Through and Through
We live here. From places with a view of the Sleeping Giant to homes near Boulevard Lake and out toward Kakabeka Falls and the Nor’Wester Mountains, we know this area because it’s home. We’re glad to help our neighbours build and protect what they’ve got.
